About Eric : Eric Ceballos discovered his passion for videography thanks to a summer film camp between his freshman and sophomore years at Patiño School of Entrepreneurship . The camp was taught by Aaron Fitzgerald , who also was his teacher for classes at Patiño and encouraged him and helped him develop his skills . Fast-forward to Eric ’ s senior year at Patiño : He is accepted to the University of Southern California ’ s joint business and film degree program ( Marshall School of Business and School of Cinematic Arts ), which only accepts 50 students a year ( 1,200 applied ). Eric , whose parents were farm workers , is the first generation in his family to go to college . He credits his mother with continually encouraging him .
At Patiño , which requires all students to establish a business , Eric was chief executive officer of Veniro , a marketing / film business run by a team of students at Patiño . He also worked on numerous film projects in high school and established his own business , Ecko Productions .
In Eric ’ s words : “ The role that Patiño has played is they ’ ve allowed me to gain the insight into business and taught me about networking .”

Juana Aguilar
About Juana : Juana Aguilar will pursue a career in agribusiness , taking advantage of the valley ’ s ag-based economy and the knowledge she acquired while at Patiño School of Entrepreneurship , a specialty high school where all students develop a business . She was on a team that created Veniro , a marketing / film business which offers a 30-day free trial to help non-profit startups attract clients or find their target audience . She also participated in FARMS , a leadership program from the Center for Land-Based Learning that introduces high school students to innovative , hands-on experiences at working farms and in agribusiness and higher education . FARMS sparked Juana ’ s interest in the business side of agriculture , and she also discovered she enjoys working outside . Juana is interested in a career that allows her to be involved in all aspects of marketing ag products , from production to distribution .
Juana also interned at Quiq Labs , where she helped develop an online platform for a client and learned website design , development and management .
In Juana ’ s words : “ Patiño has helped me gather skills that will eventually be used in my future career and helped me to come out of my comfort zone .”
