Staff and families play a crucial role in promoting regular attendance. For staff, creating an engaging and inclusive environment is key to motivating students and making them excited to come to school. Time and again, students express that strong relationships are essential to their desire to attend school. They want to feel seen, supported and valued. Both school staff and families should maintain open communication to ensure students ' needs are met. Families, in turn, can help by establishing routines, staying involved in school activities and seeking support if external factors are impacting attendance. By working together, we can build a strong support system that helps students stay on track.
