About Catherine : Catherine Ingrassia loves spending time with her parents , sister and twin brother . Growing up , the dream of pursuing art as a career never felt completely feasible for Catherine . So , when she started her business project at Patiño School of Entrepreneurship , she was on a mission to change that . Together with her team , she led the creation of Heart , a business concept in which artists provide relaxing and leisurely art instruction to seniors . Catherine believes that passion is important for happiness , and happiness is essential for success and health .
Catherine ’ s activities at Patiño included student ambassador , associated student body vice president and the Interact Club . Catherine also worked for the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust Inc . as a camp counselor . Catherine enjoys painting , sketching , doodling and playing videogames .
As a top scholarship winner , Catherine looks forward to using her funds to help pay for books and a laptop that she knows will help her excel in her
academic journey .
In her words : “ Don ’ t be sad you dropped your ice cream . Be happy you can get a new flavor ! I tell this to my friends all the time . I believe you only have one life and it ’ s important that you live your life to the fullest .”
