Elementary School , Computech Middle School and Edison High School . He listed teachers at every school who had a huge impact on his learning .
While attending Fresno State , he worked in the California Mini-Corps Program tutoring migrant students . He was assigned to help in a fourth grade class at Orange Center K-8 School south of Fresno and fell in love with teaching .
He was later placed at Jackson Elementary School in Fresno Unified , tutoring in the after school program . Once he graduated from Fresno State , he was hired as a fulltime third grade teacher at Jackson and worked there for three years before coming to Winchell .
In his office at Winchell , the shelves are lined with collectable bobble heads , including one that students ordered to look like him . Robles loves his job , especially building relationships with students , their families and his colleagues .
“ It doesn ’ t feel like work ,” Robles said . “ It feels like coming home .”
