“ I have a focus this year to emphasize , ‘ Hey , you get your vegetables . But do you know where they come from ? Do you know how important they are ?’ Our city , our county is such an important part of what ’ s happening around our world . I want our students to apply that understanding and just make sure they get it ,” Ejercito said .
